Hi,

Lily, Roxie and Shankly are now 6 weeks old and running about mad! They are so much fun to watch - they're definitely keeping us entertained.

I've got a couple of questions. Any answers would be most appreciated!

1. They've been urinating for a couple of weeks now but I've still not seen a poo! When will they start having solid stools? Is Mum still licking them up so I'm missing them?

2. They keep peeing all over the house! It's as if when they can't see the litter, they forget to use it. Any tips for stopping this?

Thanks

Kerzel xx

They SHOULD be pooping - I'd be checking around the house - they must be going somewhere other then the litter pan.

I confine kittens for the first few months to one room as they are too little to be going very far from the litter pan. You are right - they forget where it is, so you must keep them in one room or let them out for maybe 1/2 - 1 hr of SUPERVISED play time.

You will have to really clean the spots they've been peeing on cause they will return there. Get some Nature's Miracle cleaner for the spots.
