So my fiance and I went out to the car this morning and when he tried to start it... the engine rolled over a couple of times but nothing else happened. Plus the clock was showing "12:00".
So I had to take the bus to work and I don't know if he ever got the stupid car started... I'm assuming not because I told him to call if he did and he hasn't called... He thought it was just the battery and if he got a jumpstart, it would work, but I'm skeptical. We have a fairly old car and it's broken several times before, we just can't afford a new one...

So then I got to work and everything is broken! I'm a tech support consultant at my college and apparently they moved the print servers to a different city last night and DIDN'T TELL US ABOUT IT so a bunch of printers aren't working today for no good reason.
Plus the mail client just went down... I'm so frustrated!
I was so excited for this three day weekend, too! We were going to go to the state fair and hang out with friends, but now we can't go anywhere, if the car isn't fixed by then. I'm so upset.

Plus Lyra, our new kitty, is soooo jumpy and scared still and really doesn't seem that playful, even though we stressed to the old owner that playfulness is very important because Simon has the energy of a Bengal. Honestly. So I'm hoping she gets more playful with time... But she won't even go near the bedroom door, still, and gets all scared when we open the door. I'm feeling like getting her was a bad idea.

If anyone read this, just got a call from Cory. My mom went and jump-started the car and it DID work
so he's on his way to work now and the car isn't borked. So I feel better!
I always worry too much over nothing.
