Hi there, I am new to this forum.

I have two 15mth old Wegies. The boy weighs 5.5kg and the girl weighs 5kg. They have both lost some weight recently, so we have increased their available food intake. They are given 400gms wet food a day between them and as much dry food as they like. (James Wellbeloved)

I am not sure how much you would normally expect a wegie to eat at this stage. I know that they continue growing for 3 to 4 years.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks Jersey Girl

Around the bend!
I really have no idea as I've never dealt with the breed. I did look them up and all I can say is....They are gorgeous! I hope someone comes along and helps you.

Chrissy

Edit to add:

I found this:
"Norwegian Forest Cats are a large breed and will require approximately 80 Kcals per kg of bodyweight per day of food. However their diet should be watched as they should not become obese"

at this site: http://www.petplanet.co.uk/petplanet...ian_Forest.htm

Hope it helps.

Thank you for those links. Very helpful. Don't think I need to be too worried.

Thanks.
