cat sticks out tongue alot

my cat sticks out the tip of his tongue alot. he doesn't do it all the time, but he does it quite often. and he purrs alot too even when i'm not petting him and he's not receiving any attention from anyone. is this normal?

Yes this is normal. I joke we should have named out new kitten Evinrude because he purrs all the time no matter if we pet him or not. And he sticks the tip of tongue out when he sleeps as well.

I dunno if it's "normal" or not -- there's no such thing, I don't think! -- but it sure is CUTE! My angel Moti stuck her tongue out a lot -- I loved it! And my eldest, Nicolas T. Cat, is a "self-purrer" -- he's a very happy cat!
