I got this card in the mail from ally cat allies, i was thinking of sending it out and mailing it.

I just want to type what it says so someone can explain what it means.

Dear _________,

I would like to express my outrage about our town's current policy of killing stray and feral cats who enter our animal shelters. This system is both inhumane and ineffective.

The only way to reduce the number of cats in our community is to stop the breeding. Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), the practice of spaying or neutering the cats and returning them to their colonies, is the affordable and humane solution.

As a taxpaxer, I urge you to stop the killing. For more information on TNR please visit www.alleycat.org or email [email protected]

Sincerely,
____________

Does this mean i'm saying I want to start a TNR program, or is it just a way to get the town aware of TNR?

I dont know of any TNR programs by me, and we have alot of feral and stray cats.

I read it as an informational letter educating people about TNR.

Yes that is the one, hopefully by me giving out a few, those people may order more for free, and give them out, and soon mabye alot of people will send them in!

I got more for free by going on Alley Cat Allies site and asking for more (in an email) of the TNR cards to send to my Town Counsel.
