Wow I really need one of those! Maybe it would stop the wild tears through the house every night at 2 AM!

Oh Sampson you are giving me hope! I was beginning to think it was a Bengal Only toy.

Kiko is the only one who get on ours (so far) and all he does is walk at a very slow pace.

My Mother keeps reminding me that if none of them ever get use to it, at least I will have a giant hamster wheel in my living room for decoration

You could always donate it to my Bengal...

Is there a site that I could find more information about it on? It looks like a good thing for Tubee, he is none stop running through the house. So if anyone knows a site where I can find out about it and maybe buy it please tell me. I'm very interested. Thanks!

Oh my God, that is so cool
Our bobcats would love something like that!!. However, it may need to be larger for the bobs to walk in. Do you have a link to the site where you got it from?

I think that is just what Barkley needs to burn off all that energy he stores up each day, he would love that thing! But $1300 is quite a grip of money which I certainly can not afford at this time

OMG - I've never seen anything like it! Like a huge hamster wheel! Wow - my boys would love it! Kind of like a kitty treadmill!

I sure wish I could get one to trial. Although, I'm not sure my cats would use it. Maggie's too clueless and Cleo's too fat.....Lola might be inclined to use it if she were chasing Maggie on it, but as I said Maggie is too dumb to figure something like that out, lol! Hey....maybe I could borrow someone's Bengal to sort of show them the ropes! Nah, Maggie's still too thick to figure it out!

Very cool action pics! Is it very noisy when they're using it? Gosh, I wish my girls would use something like that. It's an effort to get them going with a feather wand or the laser pointer....and those only cost $5! Hee Hee!

I hear that. I can rationalize it, but I owe too many bills to pull out almost $1500 between the wheel and shipping to get that one. I did find one when I was searching, though, for round about $400. I did a search on cat wheels, and then followed the various links.. there was a link from a breeder who has one, and I think *that* wheel was about $400 before shipping, but it wasn't as nice as the one in this thread.

There's, in theory, a way to teach them to use it.. by using a teaser in front of them on the cat wheel.. or treadmill, as the case may be.. Much like dangling the proverbial carrot in front of the donkey's nose.

Sampson has a very slow even walk that lets him go at his own pace but every once in a while he gets a wild hair and off he goes.

My dad is still shaking his head at my large hamster wheel in my living room.

Takoda really scared me last night. I don't know how fast he was going but when he stopped he flew straight to the top upside down and fell. He landed on his feet but it scared the crap out of me.

We used a feather to get the boys use to it at first. Now they need no encouragement.

It's not noisy at all. You can hear the patter of their feet on the treadmill but the wheel itself is quiet.

Holy cow!! I have never in my life seen such a thing. And it costs $1500? Is that what I read? Looks like they love it, though.

It's 1099 plus shipping. Just remember, as with anything, you get what you pay for.
This wheel is of exceptional quality and will last a lifetime. Those cheap wheels fall apart in less than a year, maybe sooner if you have a bengal.
