Was talking to an older work partner today and we were discussing Fraggle Rock. He mentioned that he watched a programme called Muffin the Mule which was a childrens programme in England around about the 1950's. I just wondered if any other posters enjoyed muffin the mule and which shows our younger posters enjoyed

Oh my gosh! When I read your threat title the first thought I had was - Fraggle Rock! I loved that show!!!

I also loved the Muppet Babies, Sesame Street, Rainbow Brite, and Lady Lovely Locks.

As far as sitcom like shows, I was totally into Full House, Family Matters, and Step-by-step. Oh and one station used to show Happy Days episodes!

I'm not sure what breed of cat Garfield was

( Yes it was her )

Yeah! The mild mannered janitor! I`m sure i spelt that wrong though. Is it Phooey? Having a brain dead day

That was aweful she died like that
So tragic.

Here`s a little something I found as you inspired me to look for The Flumps...

http://www.80snostalgia.com/

It`s got the old adverts as well! 'Charley says, always tell your mummy before you go off somewhere'. Classic!

'Charley says' was turned into a record by a band called The Prodigy. It was number one in the UK for a while. I still have a copy

We didn't have a TV until I was 9 or 10 years old and I was too busy playing outside to be bothered with TV much as a kid. So I didn't really start watching TV until I was in my early to mid teens.

Flintstones
The Jetsons
Gilligan's Island
Bewitched
I Dream of Jeannie
All in the Family
The Bob Newhart Show
Chips
Happy Days
The Jeffersons
Lavern and Shirley
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
The Odd Couple
Sanford and Son
Taxi
The Waltons
The Brady Bunch
Welcome Back Kotter

It's funny, because these are still some of the more favourite shows that I find to watch on TV even today. I can't stand most of the trash that is showing up on TV these days so I tend to stick to watching reruns of old favourites like the above.
