I've got 4 month old kittens which were spayed at 12 weeks (not when I had them). They have both had diarrhea and been on antibiotics and pro biotics. They are going to the toilet normally (solid) but one of them still has a bit of loose mucous toilet at the end. I'm giving them James Wellbeloved biscuits for Kittens in water as it slows them down eating them otherwise they are gone in seconds! Is this bit of loose toilet at the end normal?

My kitten is having similar stools. I had him tested for Giardia because that is one of the symptoms - the mucousy stools. Both times his stool was tested it came back negative. Have you had your baby tested for this bacteria? It's hard to catch. They suggest doing multiple fecals since the bacteria is excreted sporadically. It could just be that he is having loose stool perhaps caused by stress being in a new environment or the food or something of that nature. They say kittens have very sensitive tummies.

Hopefully someone here can give you some great advice for your baby.
