Hello, my friends cat has been missing and came home and its paw was inflamed, it was breathing fast, its breathing was small, and its eyes are pulsating. They going to the vet on thursday, but my friend wants to know if her cat is going to die and what medicine to use.

Your friend needs to take their cat to an emergency vet asap. If the cat was outside for a few days, a number of things could have happened. He/she could have been stung by a wasp/hornet/bee, could have been bitten by something or the paw could be broken. There are a number of things that may be wrong. But, if this cat is having trouble breathing, it needs to go to the vet immediately, it can not wait until Thrusday.
Absolutely needs to go to the vet now and not wait until Thursday.
There is NO medicine to use without consultation from a vet as many human treatments can easily kill a cat.
As to your friend wondering if her cat is going to die, my only answer is that it's possible if she doesn't get the poor kitty to a vet now.
