I am so sorry about Lilo! Have you tried asking SOS for advice on how to find your cat?

Lots of vibes that you find her!

It must have been the hardest 5 months ever! Poor thing. I hope you get your baby back. She is gorgeous.

Many come home for Lilo.

I truly hope that someone is spoiling her rotten until they can find you.

What a photogenic cat!!!
Did you ever think of taking out an ad in the area newpaper (a big one like a quarter page ok-1/8 page) with her picture and a brief description of how she went missing?? You never know the responses you might get or even a human interest newspaper article??
With a sweetie like her she must be in a new home close by!!

I think that's a great idea of putting her photo in a newspaper ad. Is she a friendly cat? I'd continue to check the shelters and put an ad in the paper with her photo. She's beautiful... And do NOT lose hope. There is always hope. Please keep us posted. I'm going to concentrate on you two in my prayers tonight.

Over the river and through the woods...
Don't give up hope! My SIL's cat went missing for 8 or 9 months. She normally didn't show much interest in going outside, but one day she wasn't paying attention when she opened the front door and there went kitty. She looked everywhere and had about given up on her, when she came home from work one night to find Diesel sitting on the porch waiting for dinner like nothing happened!

I'm sure, in the mean time, as sweet and lovable as Lilo is, someone is taking care of him until he decides vacation time is over and he comes back home. But, keep looking. Also, get the neighborhood kids involved in the search. They know more about what goes on in the neighborhoods than most adults.

Good luck, and sending MANY come home vibes!

counting down until graduation!!
I am so sorry!! Have you thought about taking a picture to the local vets? Maybe someone found her and brought her in and told them that they found her. They might remember the story. Or maybe they will let you put fliers up at the vet's offices.

Also, she could still come home. Cats are smart like that. When I was young, we moved and my cat ran away. We think she was trying to go back to where we came from, but we moved 100 miles away. She was gone for about 2 months, but she just showed up out of nowhere. If you still have that feeling that she is around, then she is. Sending vibes that she returns safely.

Evryone has given such WONDERFUL advice!!
--I have left fliers @ the 3 local vets offices.
--I left a flier @ our 1 local Animal Shelter and I do check back often (I think they know me by name (haha)
--I have placed an ad in the paper but not with her picture. Thats an awesome idea.

--She wasnt chipped or have a collar. I tried the collar thing with her just incase something like that happened but she always found something to snag it on and pop it right off

A VERY SMART KITTY LILO is.
I taught her a trick. She would give me a kiss for a treat.
Awwww! I miss her.

And I DOOOOO so much feel she is around. She loved the outdoors. But was only ever allowed out when I was with her and in a fenced area.

I know it sounds so silly but EVERY TIME I drive in my driveway.... I briefly close my eyes hoping to open them with her sitting on my doorstep giving me that quiet, shy little MEOWWWW she would give me when Ive done something to her un-liking.

She is my little LOVE. And I appreciate all of your prayers!!!

I'm sorry, Sarah. I can't even begin to understand the anguish that you must feel with her not being around. I hope that she turns up safe and sound soon.

Sarah, I know exactly how you feel, it was around the first of March 06' when my baby "Scream" ran outside and I never saw her again! I know the pain, I was literally sick, I did everything you did or have done. I stayed up for about 4 days and nights, riding up and down the rode at 4 and 5 in the morning calling her name, OMG after losing Marvin in 01' , I just simply and honestly lost it! I was a babbling idiot. I mean I could not control my crying, my son who remained so positive, would say, "mama, she is going to come back". Well she hasn't yet, I stayed away from the catsite for several months
also, and I still refuse to do the rainbow bridge thing that was the hard part, just no knowing what happened to her it almost drove me insane! . Lilo is soo gorgeous, I have tears running down my face right now for her and you! is there anyone living at your old house? She is probably between places, could of gotten scared by a dog and is hiding . and believe me when they are scared, they hide and stay put. to scared to move! All I can say is i'm praying for you and her! Can you ask your old neighbors to watch for her also. You have my love sarah!!!!! keep us posted! please don't ever hesitate to pm me. I have a great shoulders to cry on!
all my love and hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awwwww!!!

Thank you so much for your post! You really do know what I am going through.

I have said OVER and OVER "The hardest part is NOT KNOWING"!!!
"Not knowing if she is ok" "Not knowing if she is somewhere getting her big ol' fat belly rubbed in just the right way she likes" (That had to happen just right or else)

My youngest daughter has been supportive. Saying "Mommy she is coming back, she is just on an "adventure" But my oldest daughter, Laynee (7) still, 5 months later, cries very often for her. She says "mommy, i miss lilo most because when i didnt feel good, you remember how she always knew to come cuddle with me and make everything ok" And those things coming from her has made it harder. And then I have to put on a brave face for her.

In our old house (which we rented) now lives the godfather of my oldest daughter. I asked him to keep an eye out for her and he actually called me over there one day but the cat was actually a stray i used to feed (and also my PETALS daddy)

When we moved I left a huge bucket full of food and asked them to please continue feeding all my strays and so they do.

All I can do is hope and pray, I guess. Its very hard though.
