Veeshan got best Somali Premier over Kingston in every ring! Unfortunately she did not make any finals. There were 6 rings so she got 1 point in every ring equaling 6 points for the day.

I have been having the feeling Veeshan was better quality for quite some time. It has now been proven to me.

You know what I would say right? So, obviously all six judges preferred the less extreme.

Congrats. What's the age difference between them. Right now V has the better coat (more of it), but K still may beat her in a few years when he fully develops

Showing a minority breed can be tough work. That's why bringing two is always a great trick, even if one doesn't make a final, someone will still be getting points. Usually though, having two cats present forces the judges to really think about the standard. Plus, if Veeshan grands the first day at a two day show, Kingston can nab all her points the next day. It's a nice little glitch in the CFA system

Your statement on minority breeds are very true FerrisCat- eventhough I breed the ever popular Abyssinian - Abys are just not popular here! There is only me who shows/breeds Abys in ID Asia ... at least from a country that is allowed to show everywhere. There are other Aby breeders in Singapore and Korea but their quarantine restrictions are so tough that I am considered the only Aby breeder in ID Asia.

Personally I would love more competition within my chosen breed but it looks like I will just have to battle it out against the Coons, Persians, Exotics and Norwegians all alone!
