Can't really say how many. Ziggy is a really small cat, her back is about 2cm from the ground, and proportionately she was the same as Floss and she had 4.

By the way, she has bared the fur from her nipples which is a sign that things are close. How long has it been like this? Ziggy didn't do that until after they were born, the poor little things had fur in their mouths the first time they fed.

Anything happened yet. I'll be here til the early hours waiting.

Just wondering if you know what daddy cat looks like.

Based on your chocolate kitty, I would guess: 4 kittens, 1 x Brown 2 x Brown with white paws and bib, and one white with brown patches. Maybe 1 male and 3 female.

Have you tried to guess the colours yet?

Couldn't tell you, didn't even realise she was pregnant til about 12 days before they were born when I noticed them kicking around. I did suspect but thought she was just finally filling out, as I said she is a really small cat

Any more signs? How is she doing?

Hi No sign of any kittens as of yet! She spends all day lounging about while I follow her around like a idiot! She is 61 days now so i guess it is just a matter of time before they arrive. God I can't wait!

Hi, Its now day 63 and Floss STILL shows no signs of delivering her kittens!! Its driving me mad, I havent slept since day 60!! She is VERY active, running around all over the house, rolling all over the floor, then she just flops to the ground exhausted!
I know its only a matter of time and I can lay money on the fact that she'll go into labour tomorrow when I go back to work.
Oh well i'll keep you posted!

Hi Is it possible for a cat to go into labour before her waters break, or do the waters always break before the onset of labour?

Oh my goodness! Either she's going to have a lot of kittens or she has a bad case of gas, lol!
She's going to pop if she doesn't have those babies soon!

Hi. It is now day 65 and there is still no sign of Floss giving birth to her litter.
She is now confined to just one room with litter tray, birthing box and food/water. Is there any reason for me to be concerned about the fact that she hasn't given birth yet? On what day would she be classed as over due? I'm just worried a bit thats all!! Sorry for the vent!! It's tough being an expectant granny!!

I guess she'll have them when they're ready to come out

I'm waiting for my rabbit to give birth to her kits, in a week or so, so I know how you're feeling

hope the labour goes smoothly, and comes soon

Hi Well I have spoken to my vet today asking for some advice as the weekend is now approaching. Floss has been digging about a bit behind the sofa which i believe is a possible sign that she is near. The vet told me to let nature take its course and to contact them again on Monday if the litter hasnt arrived before then. Thanks for your posts so far. I'll keep you updated! Hopefully not much longer!

Hi I think possibly that Floss has possibly gone into labour. She has been spending alot of time under the bed, purring with little meows. Lots of shifting about and lots and lots of licking down below and lots of self grooming. Is this the start do you think?

Sounds like she could be getting close! Then again, they always love to keep us waiting until we just can't stand it anymore.
