I'm getting this huge pimple on the side of my nose. I mowed the lawn today and my face got oily. I probably shoulda washed it but I didn't. (duh) Anyway, I'm going to put some tea tree oil on it. Hopefully that will help. I hate acne. I ususally don't have a problem with it except when I'm due for a Depo shot. Then I start breaking out all along my hair line. Those are starting to clear up now there's the one on my nose.

Just to let you know, tea tree oil is poisonous to cats so be careful he doesn't get any of it.

Hey, I'm 37 and still get HUGE pimples every few months.
Amen to that sista!
I'm 25 and thought the days of pimples ended long ago, but weather and hormonal fluctuations cause pimples on me. Ick to pimples!! I put that Clean and Clear spot treatment (the clear kind) under my makeup when I get a pimple each day until it goes away. That stuff really works wonders for 20something year old's pimples.

The toothpaste trick works great, but you have to use the white paste type, not the gel type toothpaste! If that doesn't work, cortisone cream usually does the trick! Hello! I'm nearly 50 and I still get the darn things! They look really good with the crow's feet.

Just leave it alone. Don't squeeze or pop it no matter how tempting it may be. You'll just make it worse. If you have any face lotion containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid apply some of that to the blemish.

You could always try a sea salt soak to draw it out. It is a method used for healing piercings, but it draws out impurities, and I have used it successfully on pimples. Your nose is a little hard to soak, so you could mix up a soak, a pinch of sea salt to about 1/4 cup of the warmest water you can stand, and wet a clean washcloth with it. Hold it on there until it begins to cool, and if you have time, do it several times. If you can find a way to soak it for a few minutes, it will work better.

I'm sorry, but I just got a mental image of someone actually trying to soak their nose! Imagine...hubby comes home and sees DW with her nose in a bowl..

Husband: "ummm, honey? What are you doing??"
Wife: "I'm trying to get rid of a pimple" (in a very nasal voice)

Cop: "and...how did she drown again?".....

I know, I'm warped but that just struck me as funny!

Great advice though. Seriously. Sea salt will do wonders. Just don't stick your nose in it!

The other half always makes sure I don't have to worry about pimples. That man will chase me around the room just to have the satisfaction of popping it! Some things men enjoy I will just never understand

If you think that is a good mental picture, I will try to fing the pics with me soaking my eyebrow piercings in a huge metal bowl with my head hanging off the couch, then rolling on to the floor, head in bowl. Oops, I will stop hijcking now!
