What a challenging vacation, challenge in being able to relax and fully enjoy! Kansas is beautiful, couldn't ask for a more serene get away! Only problem for us was we drove! First day drive through torrential down pour and blinding fog, we had to stop driving and the next day we drove 14 hours! Had a lovely 2 day stay, though to much of it driving around in my opinion. Then drove back with a third person and a bunch of stuff since he was moving to NYC. I missed Maia sooooo bad! Cried a few times, especially when things were stressful
. When I got home, I ran up the hall stairs calling her name outside the apartment door, I heard her crying, I freaked out, ran in and she just kept crying but I couldn't find her! Thought she got closed in a room or something was wrong, but she was under the bed, crying, so I grabbed her and hugged her and I started crying! Felt so bad, first time I was away longer then 20 hours! Then I found out from my friend who was feeding her and my roommate she was quite the whole time
....Guess she new it was me coming and was so happy to hear my voice!
Happy to be back with everyone on TCS and soon we should have atleast 2 new members from Kansas and Seattle!
