Physical wise, my eyes. When I got my contacts for the first time I had a lot of people either ask if I had gotten colored contacts, or just saying things like "I didn't know your eyes are blue!!!" I like my hair color too. I'm not the best at styling it, but it is thick and healthy. I can't wait for it to grow back long now too!

Otherwise I'm proud of making some difficult goals for myself and sticking to them!

Well, since I could choose more than 1, I did!
I am very proud of putting myself through school for my first degree and now I am back for my second degree. I am proud of the fact that I have 2 beautiful kitties and a handsome horse (couldn't bring myself to beautiful since he is a boy and he is my only horse
). I am proud that I got myself and the kitties out of a bad relationship this year. I am proud of my nice shiny new car. And, last but not least, my eyes are very pretty and I get compliments on them frequently. Whew, I am vain!

Even though I mentioned accomplishments I must mention I am vain about the size of my feet!!! I have smallish feet for a person of my height- size 7 or 7 1/2 shoes-I can honestly say that there isn't a pair of shoes that would make my feet apprear "big"!! On the other hand I cannot "show" them off with hgh heels due to scar tissue build up on my big toe from surgery 9 yrs ago-2.5 inch heel would be probably the most comfortable without big toe pain!!

For accomplishments not many people I know lose their job in their late 40's and make the jump to self employment. I'm doing something that gives people a smile on their face (and mine too).
The other is having my neighbor prosecuted for killing Sheba. It was a tough decision to make and had to endure comments from people and articles in the local newspaper. But it was worth it.

I went back to school at 43 and became a massage thrapist. It was a lot tougher tht I thought it would be, but I graduated with a 3.85 GPA, second in my class. I didn't know there were so many anatomy, physiology, pathology, psychology, kineseology, etc classes, I thought youu just learned to rub muscles. Along with all the academic parts, I give a great massage.
Unfortunately it is more or less a hobby now, because I also did not realize that you cannot make a living at it around here. I still have a part time job at a salon along with my DirecTV job.

Geeze...I sure wish you lived closer to me! I'd hire you as often as I could! My physical therapist recommended that I get a massage a couple of times a week while I'm starting out in PT, and still having muscle spasms in my back.

And congratulations for going back to school at 43! I turned 40 while in my nursing clinicals...I was the oldest one in my graduating class. It's kind of intimidating to be surrounded by a bunch of 20-somethings.....quite the eye-opening experience, lol!

counting down until graduation!!
I am proud that I started back to school for a second career after being out for almost 10 years.

What I am most proud about concerning that is that I have made Dean's list every semester since I have been in! 4 regular semesters and 3 summers!!

Only two more semesters to go and I am done and will be an RT!!

My teeth. They are very straight and I've never had to wear a brace. I've never had any treatment of any kind either.

People like my hair, but I hate it. It's very long (bottom of back) and very straight, but it is so thin that I can't even curl it, although I do know that people spend a fortune trying to straighten their hair.

Okay, I am proud that I received my bachelor's degree at age 42. I overall GPA was 3.48 so not amazing but I feel good enough about it.

This may sound silly, but my biggest pride is that I have for the most part overcome the trauma and abuse I endured as a child. And that despite the odds being against me, I feel I'm quite successful. It wasn't easy, and I still have some tough days, but even through the hard times, I actually feel my life is worth living. I'm proud that my siblings and others who went through the same thing as me can know that there is a way out, and it is possible to be happy in the end.

I just now thought of something. I'm proud of my fingernails. They are strong yet flexible and don't break. The tips are naturally white so it looks like I have french tips. I get lots of compliments on them and they make my mom jealous because her nails are cruddy
I was a committed nail biter and ten years ago I just stopped doing it.

I'm proud of my senior year in high school for many reasons...

1. I got into the All-State Band (my dream ever since freshman year).
2. I graduated in the top 20 of my class.
3. I placed high in the All-West Band.
