I went to bed at 12 am and slept to 3 this afternoon. I kept waking up a lot so I don't know if that's why I slept so long or not. I'm still tired even after all that sleep. All I know is I'm sick of being tired all the stinking time.

Just a thought, but I noticed I am more tired when I am lazy, or sleep too much. The more I sleep or lay around the house, the worse I feel. My body actually hurts & I get angry at myself for the time I've wasted doing nothing.
Other than that, are you eating good food &/or taking vitamins or staying active otherwise? If so, see a doctor.

It's probably because I don't have a job and I have nothing to do all the time. I eat pretty good but I don't take vitamins.

I should practice what I preach, but.....
If you spend 10-20 minutes after you wake up doing moderate cardio exercise, it actually works wonders infusing you with energy.

I agree with exercise helping to perk you up a bit. It doesn't have to be anything serious just a quick walk around the block.

I know if I sleep to much I feel worse then if I don't get enough sleep. Maybe try setting up a routine going to bed at the same time, getting up at the same time, find something to help you pass the time, a hobby, maybe do a bit of volunteer work...

And try vitamins especially B complex, it does help.

Yep--lots of sleep can tire you out. Of course, when I'm truly exhausted I can be basically comatose for days, only waking up for an hour or two to eat and go to the bathroom, so I do have some experience there LOL.

Try limiting yourself to 8 or so hours of sleep and getting some good exercise--if going outside doesn't appeal, scrubbing floors and vaccuming work WONDERS for me! After a few days when you're feeling better go on longish brisk walks... it will make you feel a lot better, believe me.

Have you had your iron and potassium levels checked recently? I know problems like that can cause you to be more tired than normal. Also- changes in your monthly cycle can cause ups and downs and make you feel more tired at certain times of the month too. I know for me there was a long while there where I was just EXHAUSTED all the time- it was insane. That's when my doctors figured out i need extra potassium...so they put me on some potassium pills (really strong ones) for a few weeks there to get me regulated, and then they were able to just put me on potassium supplements (OTC) and keep me regulated that way. It really has helped.

Another thing that helps is getting the proper amount of exercise every week - at least an hour of good exercise 3x a week for me
It ups your energy level and keeps you in good shape as well! I also take naps in the afternoon and that helps too! Maybe you could try some of that

I mowed the lawn this afternoon and the physical activity helped perk me up. I guess maybe I should start doing something physical every day. That would probably help.
