Hello,
not really new to the forums, have been lurking for months (does that sound creepy?) but am new to posting on them. I am living with my parents for one more week then am moving into a rented place for school. I have one 15 year old cat, Sugar, and last Sunday took in a stray, Kali. Unfortunately, I had to bring Kali to the humane society as I've paid over $300 in vet bills in the past month ($240 for finches and $80 for cat check up/grooming) and can't afford to get Kali spayed, get her tested for FIV/FLV and get shots (the vet I use charges $185 for spay and $85 for the FIV/FLV tests). I'm really hoping that as I gave in an application with Kali that I'll get her back, I can afford the adoption fee.
I do have some questions, but will post them in the appropriate forums. I look forward to chatting with you.

It is sad when we can't afford to keep every stray. Hopefully she will be a lucky one and get adopted.
