Oh little Miss Laaadddyyyy!

She isn't a Cocker Spaniel, but she is kinda cute. I brought home a foster dog so the shelter wouldn't have to euthanize(or at least not as many). The first girl I brought home was miserable outside in a kennel. Little Lady here is nice & quiet. Probably only lived outdoors. (No scolding about her being outside only....I don't need to hear it. I don't believe in outdoor dogs.) She was labeled dog aggressive at the shelter because of some behaviors, but I knew she wasn't. And as you can see from the pics, she plays nicely with Coco. She thinks Macey is a pony & jumps on her back, which cannot be good for Macey's back! She was supposed to go back to the shelter tonight, but even sending 3 big dogs off to a different place to get adopted, we still have NO space. And people calling like crazy needing to surrender dogs & cats...."schools starting". Apparently they no longer think before they act!

I love her little tail sticking up in the air, when she really relaxes, she carries herself high & proud!


She's very little, 40 lbs tops. And only knee high at the shoulders. And cute.

This is how she approaches, sidles up to a person on her bum. She's very very timid.



Any breed guesses?

I think definitely some Lab and probably some Kelpie in there, too, or Border Collie.

She's SO beautiful. I never cease to be thankful that there are people like you in the world

I thought BC, too Sarah....but am having a hard time grasping it. I keep wondering if she's a Spaniel X, too. I definately see Labbie in her, I think. I guess I can see Lab in most anything!

But she has some wrinkles on her face I cannot fit to a breed. And she doesn't act the least bit BC....which doesn't prove she hasn't got any in her.

I know this will probably sound really stupid - but could there be just a touch of Pug in her??

She does have the "flatter" nose, but it certainly isn't purebred Pug snoot. It is possible she's got some in her, though. I can't help but wonder what she is. I wish she was a more "desirable" breed because she is so timid, labeled as a Lab/Terrrier X isn't making her overly desireable. But I love her.

I think the face shape/build is where the Pit comes in. She's got the wider nose, the thicker face....just kinda Pitty.

Oh gosh she is cute! She totally looks like she just wants someone to give her a forever home! If I had a house and a yard for her to run around in I'd pick her up right now! Its sad that we have to think about "desireable" breeds when it comes to dogs.

Well, whatever she is, she's a doll. I hope someone falls in love with her
