Ditto, for some reason, I didn't really like it.

Now Big Love, I watch every week!

I'm a huge fan! I love it. I got season 1 on dvd as a christmas present last year. It's a fantastic show

It took a few episodes to really get into it but around 7 eps in I was completely and utterly hooked.

I have seen the first season. I am waiting for season two to come in my netflix, but they are backed up.

This is one of my favorite shows. I agree with Siggav took a few espisodes to get into but then the show was off the hook! I love how scandalous everyone is. Truly riveting stuff!

I don't have HBO, but it always looked interesting. Maybe I'll get the DVD from Netflix

Nope, we don't have cable/satellite. Just 5 basic channels
It sounds interesting though!

It's my understanding that the writers were only going to do two seasons, then a movie. They didn't want to drag it out (especially since it's based on historical facts - they'd have to make up stuff).

Me too! And the weird superstitions and bizarre rules of society!

We don't either so we rented them on DVD.

Evidently, there was a fire in the set for Rome on August 10, so there will be no more episodes... Contrary to what I said eariler, I just read that the third season was written and ready to go, but also, like lookinglass said, that it was cancelled.
I guess it's a moot point since the set cost a fortune.
