No-Kill Shelter Article

Please read and let us know what the general opinion. In my opinion, I think there need to be no kill shelters. And peraps a few more regulations for them. To prevent "warehousing" as they call it, and provide more interaction time between the animals and people. Let me know what you think. I could not imagine a group of "animal rights activists" being anti-no-kill-shelters.

I believe there was already a thread started in IMO. I know it's been discussed on many rescue boards including Petfinder.

Just the problem that has me taking care of two cats despite a landlord who doesn't want them... The no-kill shelters are all full, and the kill shelters would euthanize them.

Not that I mind, especially when they're winding around my legs and purring, the little nuisances...

I started it in the IMO here. Mostly to see what people's reality was with no-kill shelters. It is extremely educational and there have been some really good posts in it.

As for PETA, take anything with a grain of salt. They do not support the idea of companion animals.
