Ok so we have a ton of left over ply wood and what not from the boat remodel. And I know Pong likes sleeping in boxes and I know Ping sleeps in boxes on occasion. So I am thinking seriously about making some home made cat bed/boxes with the wood. And getting some scrapes from one of the 2 carpet dealers in town (I know one does sale scrapes). So what would be a good grow with size for them. I am think for the bottom 20x20 or 20x15 with the sides being 10inches tall. And then using some old blankets for sleeping material. What do ya'll think?

There's no place like home
I'd do at least 20x20 if the sides are firm. If in doubt, find a box that they like and measure it!

Can you sew? If so, I would suggest a slip cover made out of cloth that you can remove and launder. Using carpet would be OK, but would be harder to clean. And if you can sew, PM me and I'll give you some ideas on materials to make a cushion on the bottom very easily.
