I saw this and thought it was interesting but was wondering if there was a location by me, if this would be healthy for my cat's overall being or if this would be a mistake.

See how people are giving their cats a rest

I would appreciate people's thoughts on this since my family is newer to cat ownership compared to people who have lived their entire lives with them.

Thanks.

I have had cats all my life but I wouldn't say I am an expert. That being said, I think it really depends on the cat. I can see this being a wonderful thing for cats to be able to have company and such when you have to be away. Other cats might be traumatized and need to be in their own surroundings.
Wish I could be more help. I just know that some of my cats would be more traumatized then helped and some would love it.

thanks for your reply. what you are saying makes sense.

I think I did not word the question exactly the way I intended.

I posted in the general forum a few minutes ago explaining that I was trying think about this being "healthy" from a spoiling my cat standpoint and if they will come to expect such treatment etc.

Thanks for your thoughts on the cats liking company as well being comfortable or not in a certain environment.
