Zodiac Spot on for Fleas

Has anyone tried this and if so what were your results?
I am in a bit of an emergency, and it will take up to 10 days for my FrontlinePlus and Spray to get here and I need to rid these babies of these fleas NOW.

The first step is treating the Mother because if I bathe them all and she's still infested, they're gonna be right back on her.

I know few here like OTCs but any advice would be helpful.

The Zodiac flea coller disolved the hair around Mellows neck, and there are lots of websites about how bad hartz is, although, I have friends who have no problems with it, I dont know if there is a temporary measure? I am too scared to use OTC now

Yeah disregard this post... I found a Petco in my area who carries frontline plus.

Petsmart for some reason doesn't.
I was in an emergency situation.
