So I sent away for a free care package from the ASPCA. In the package I recieve a few paphlets, a sticker to put on my window to alert emergency personel about the animals in my home and a magnet with the number for the 24 hour Emergency Veterinary Poison Hotline. I felt it is and important thing and wanted all of you to have the number for emergencies. We never know what our fur babies may get in to and this could help save a life.

The number is
888-426-4435 Animal Poison Control Center
www.aspca.org/apcc

*mods could you copy the number and make it a sticky so it is readily available to those who need it fast?

I just wanted to let people know that they charge $55.00 to call and open a case. They do not receive federal funds like a government agency. However, they were very helpful when I called with an emergency and there was a live vet on hand to consult the operators. Once you call and open a case, they do not charge for follow-up calls.
