In exactly 10 days Tristan & i will be driving down to a quite spot along the beach a couple of hours away. A whole week of no schedule, no computer problems, no parents, no siblings (i dont have any, but i mean Tristan's charming sister..), no alarm clocks and NOO irritating NOISY neighbours. I will miss the furballs though
I have to train dad not to yell at Charlie, and to put him in the enclosure. Mum can do that on the weekends, but not while she's working and dad's home weekdays.

The stress of starting councelling again, my stomach has been sore/sick for two weeks (don't worry, pms just started yesterday, but i was seriousely freaking out) having dad say certain things that got me angry and upset and making sure i am up to date with my job searching so that the government, and my job case manager don't shout at me. I've been aplying for alot of jobs. Tristan needs this even more than me, now that people know he's going away they've been dumping work more on him, his insomnia isn't improving, he NEEDS real sleep and hopefully once he relaxes, a migraine doesnt hit him

Sept 4th is our 2 year anniversary as bf/gf and i'm so excited!! We went there last year for the first time. It's a caravan park, that has permenant residents, and little cabins of different sizes. It's not actually a huge tourist place, so it is very quiet, you can wake up and look out onto the ocean, and at night you can see the city over the bay and it's so pretty. There is a huuge old mansion, an open range zoo, raaf base/museum, a HUUUGE shopping complex ive never ever been to and the website shows its HUGE (have to do b'day shopping for mum so this will be good for ideas). These attractions are all 10-20 mins drive away, really close!

During the last year, they actually have been making the park over. New amenities, doing up the garden beds, refurbishing cabins. Last year was the first time we'd ever gone away together. We had this little cabin that was probably 15 years old, clean, but old. One room contained the bed, kitchen/dining and front door lol. Then a smaller room leading off had three tiny bunks next to the washing basin/mirror, then toilet/shower seperate.

Last year we admired this big cabin, wondering what it was like inside, and turns out for extra $25pp (which is VERY good as it's 10 times better), we get that cabin! It is 6 years old, got refurbished THIS year with new whitegoods etc. It has 2 bedrooms, huge fridge, 3 beds (3rd is a sofa bed) seperate lounge etc. I know i know...what do 2 people do with that many rooms? Lol. Room to move! It's all decked out (with a porch lol) and it really is like a new house, but smaller. Some people may prefer fully serviced hotels or something. But i love that it's like looking after our own house, being independant, we get to see if we can actually live together and not annoy eachother without other people interfering.

I'm so excited, hence all the words!! I was going to post this before i left, but i have sooo much to do in the next week. We're leaving Sunday but i'm going up to his house Saturday so we can do grocery shopping, and i'm cooking up roasts and chicken lasagne and a huuuge tropical fruit salad etc to last for the week. Of course we'll go to a resteraunt at least once on the actual day. We've been saving up for months!!

OMG!!!!!!!

Yay! Enjoy your trip! I know what it's like to need to get away! I've talked it over with DH and he's ok with it, so now I'm trying to get up the courage to drive myself to my Grandparent's house for a few days. Earlier this week I was all fired up ready to go. Now I'm so hesitant because I have to drive myself (6-7 hours typically).
