Hi! I'm Dennis and I'm new here in this forum. I just want to ask if what is the excellent cat breed.

Hello Dennis, Welcome to TCS! I am not sure what you are asking but the Somali is an excellent cat breed

Hello & welcome to TCS. It all depends on what temperament & features you are looking for in a cat. Do you want a laid back cat or something with a lot of exuberance.

There is no one cat breed that is good.....they are ALL wonderful!!! It depends on what personality you are looking for, because they are all unique....especially the thousands of homeless "regular" kitties looking for homes.

It's ALL good!

I am partial to Siamese, but then everyone here will tell you they partial to one or another, or no breed ... and I bet that, I have had some of the most OBNOXIOUS, NOISY DEMANDING animals of all!
Just a hunch.

Abyssinians of course, but I see the Somalis, Cornies, Ocis and the meezers have beaten me to it!

Love needs no pedigree - go to a shelter and save one. Come back when you're serious about a specific breed!

Welcome to TCS and enjoy the forums!

Hi Dennis

If you have never heard of Ragdoll cats, do some research.
They are the most amazing cats I have ever been around JMHO

I know Torties arent a breed but if you like fun interactive and lively cats then Torties are definitely for you! My cat Petunia is a Tortie. Barkley is in a class all by himself and he likes it that way! I was told by his vet that he has the markings of a Turkish Van, from what Ive read on them they are wonderful cats as well!
