Sick Kitty?

I think my 4 and a half month old kitty might be sick. She's acting kinda listless and weak... When she walks it's not normal, she's wobbling all over and sometimes losses her balance. She is still very aware of her surroundings, which is a good sign.

I'm very worried, she was fine just yesterday...

Is she maybe just really tired?

I can't afford to take her to the vet and my older sister (whom I'm visiting) isn't here to lend me money. What do I do?

I'm just visiting my sister, I don't live here so I don't think payments are possible. She has her first set of shots. She's not spayed (much too small) and yes she is eating and drinking; I gave her some wet food with mushed up garlic in it to boost her immune system.

Wobbling, losing her balance, and listless is very serious and you need to get your kitty to a vet as soon as possible. At that young age your kitten could be dead within 24 hours.

I don't mean to alarm you, but sick kittens will die very quickly if not treated immediately for any serious symptoms. And what you are describing is very serious.

Also you should avoid feeding your cat any raw garlic, it can cause a dangerous form of anemia and can result in death.

I don't mean to keep scaring you, but you need to take the kitten to a vet. If you are planning to use home remedies, please research carefully before trying anything.

The garlic was my older sister's suggestion, I'll take it away from her. My mom will get off work around five, I'll call her then to see if she'll lend me the money; even if this is nothing I'd rather pay an arm and a leg then risk losing her.

I agree w/ the others; there is something wrong w/ your kitten. What you're describing does not sound good.
Please get her to the vet ASAP! If you can't borrow the money, there are vets who will let you make payments.

I hope your little one will be alright.
