Currently she is on all wet food (mostly grain-free Wellness) but still prefers the dry food and sometimes "fasts" until eventually I give her some dry. I know, I shouldn't cave in. But she needs to take food with her Clavamox and if she won't eat, what can I do?

So I'm hoping the Orijen is going to make a difference in her stools and UTI's. I'll still feed wet at night I think. And I haven't missed a dose of her Lactulose stool softener and Laxatone every other day.

It seems like it's always something, doesn't it?

Can't wait to try it. Of course, she won't be eating much of it because she's on a strict diet, so we're cutting way, way back on her portion sizes as instructed by the vet.

At this point I'm not going for stool volume, I'm just happy if anything comes OUT. Due to her megacolon and chronic constipation problems, I'm always aware of the size and quantity of her stools... and if I don't see SOMETHING in her box at least once a day, I start to get nervous.

We shall see!

I've actually noticed less poo since feeding Orijen and as I said in another thread, much less odour in the litter.

I'll remember that Yosemite. I won't panic if I don't see something. I will just try to notice any straining which definitely means trouble for Mitties. Thanks for the tip.
