new from ny

Hey all, my name is corinne i live on long island with my 3 kitties, rufus, sal and stain(yes stain! she looks like wood stain and it just stuck lol) I am soon to be living with 2 labs too as soon as me and boyfriend move into our new house(we'll see how that goes they never really met dogs!) ive had cats pretty much my whole life. On my 4th birthday i was given an all black kitten with a big pink bow and ive been in love ever since im always lookin to expand my knowledge and share what i know!!!

Hello & welcome to TCS. You'll need advice on how to intro your kitties to your new dogs. 16 years ago I had a beautiful silver shaded persian named Smokee. When we got him we had a dog the size of a corgi. He grew up with this dog & they got on. Then Jedda died & we got a bigger dog almost the size of a lab. Smokee didn't like the new dog & used to go across the road to visit an old lady neighbour. I used to go & get him most days. When he was almost 9 yrs old he crossed the road to get home & was killed by a car.
I hope you don't mind the friendly warning to be carefull.
