Me and Ike

Hey all!

I am a college student here in Florida, and this is my new baby kitty, Ike!

She (yes she) is an all-black house cat. She was one of 5 offspring of a friend's cat. They were weened and cared for until they were about 3 weeks old, when I took her home. (All the other babies went to wonderful homes as well.)
She is now about 4 months old. She is very energetic, spunky and still loves to play at 4 in the morning

I have already been helped immensely here and hope to get to know all of you and update you on my baby!

Hello & welcome to the forum. That was young to leave her mum & siblings. Pedigree kittens in Oz don't leave their mum until they're 12 weeks old so they can learn all they need to know on how to be a cat.
Contradicting what I've just said I've had Blossom since she was abandoned when she was 3 weeks old. She wasn't weaned & I had to bottle feed her for 2 weeks & then teach her to eat solid food. Not an easy task. She's only known us humans & our 2 dogs.
Ike is gorgeous btw. Look forward to hearing all about his progress.
