Yes. I always want to make sure I have plenty of clothes to choose from. Plus I usually pack extra undies, socks, etc. just in case!

No I don't overpack. After traveling a few times to Europe I brought only the basics and follow my 5 match rule-ie a top has to match with 5 other items!!
Plus I can always buy something if I need it and I have to save room for souveniers!!
I do bring a few paperback books but I usually buy them at Goodwill and then leave them behind. Some people bring their icky underwear and then throw them away so they don't have to lug them back.
I bring a baggie of laundry soap to handwash items so I can re-wear them!!

Nope, I hate lugging stuff around. I just pack the essentials and if something comes up and I need extra items my theory is their is usually a store within walking distance anyway.

. I'm also such a girly-girl...so I always have a bunch of misc. unnecessary junk like make-up, jewelry, and hair products. ugh.

Absolutely when I traveled. Jim is the only one who travels now, so I over pack him!

Yes, I over pack.
I did a great deal of traveling in the 1990's and early 2000, experience taught me that if I didn't over pack, some unforeseen incident would occur and I would need something I didn't have with me

I'm in the middle of packing for a week away and already have 10 shirts put aside.

Over packing is a definite when going on vacation for me
I tend to under pack when I go and stay places around here tho too
Or other times over pack as well! But going away and over packing is a complete and total YES for me

Here... or There... Hmmm
I don't get to travel so that has never been an issue, but i do bring a lot of things if we are going somewhere local even so I probably would do something like that!

Oh yea! I'm really bad about overpacking
Colin's family always teases me that i pack too much when we go to visit them...so the last time we went- i found a little keychain that had a kichen sink on it- and took it with me...so when his dad asked if i forgot the kitchen sink- he got the biggest kick out of me telling him "no sir, i brought that too!"
