hi there! I have a cat that came to us as a stray a few years ago. He has this strange behavior thing going on.
Normally at night, he is very active. We have french doors on our upstairs bedroom that we leave open so cats can come and go. He comes in and out all night!
he will go into corners of the room/house and stare blankly and meow repeatedly into the corner. He goes to room doors that he knows are not exterior doors and will scratch and scratch and scratch. Even when he knows just how to get out if he wants! Anytime of day he will go in and out of being skitterish....he is absolutley lovable and sweet one minute, then all of a sudden he gets a blind look in his eyes and he acts as if he does not know who you are and he just wants to run.
Since we do not know his background, we are not sure what this all means. He is normal in every other way, just this weird behavior thing.
Any ideas?
