I just thougtht this be nice if people were Christian ...I hope not to offend anyone; but it'd be fair to say that I will not defend my belief in my Saviour Jesus Christ

I'm not Christian but I'm not offended in the least. It's very nice.

You know, you really should visit the Holy Land someday. I think you would find it very interesting. This place is saturated with ancient relics from Jesus time.

I live not so far from Nazareth and Tiberias and all the places where he lived (the same area code ). My morning walks are along an old Roman road which was probably a major road at the time. It is sometimes funny to think that my morning walks in the fields are possibly literally in the footsteps of Jesus...

Catarina, if you ever want to visit, I'll be happy to have you stay with us and to show you around!

Catarina... I really enjoyed reading this thread....as I also enjoyed talking to you on the phone the other night....it was so great to put a voice with my friend!!! And to hear you talk, and to listen! I cherished that SO much!!!

I too am Christian...and I get very defensive when someone puts God down, or belittles him...they have No idea.

Gee...maybe we should start a religion thread here...just in case anyone wants it...we could all share our own opinions and beleifs I think, without flaming one another for their own beleifs. I think It could be very educational and enlightening...and if it helps even one person make it into the kingdom of god, that would be worth it.

Let me know if there is any interest in a thread like this...if not...no problem, just a thought.

By the way, I think that's the most incredible idea in the world. I too would never condemn anyone's beliefs (I would however be very scared if someone was into the occult or an aethist...for these people do not wish to recognize their Saviour). I'm sure you understand.

Look up...lol...that's why I told "YOU" to start the thread...although it's a great thing to do to worship OUR LORD & SAVIOUR...the diversities in religious beliefs may be to broad and who knows...perhaps we'll have our first war on the Cat Site...

Let's think of how we can do this without any type of possible negative feedback...By the way, how's peaches? I hope she's much better.

We have plenty of room in my in-laws house next door! And we're only one hour drive away from the Galilee, Nazareth and Tiberias. We're 10 minutes away from Cesaria (sp?) and 40 minutes away from Tel Aviv. Jerusalem is only 1.5 hours drive away from here (even less if the traffic is good). It's a very small country... I have my time on my hands as I work from home, so I can really show you some nice places.

I sent it all the way around the world in email. *G* To bad I couldn't go with it. Then I could meet all of you and see Anne's homeland. To be able to walk in such rich HIStory would be so uplifting and remarkable. I too am Christian and have been since Jr. High. I welcome the fact that this board allows such subjects to be discussed without repercussions, and I welcome the fellowship your posts (and others) offer me.
