Prepare me for my audience

I opened the door this morning and set a small shelf unit in front of the storm door for the cats to sit on and watch the "goings on" outside.

Mischief however, had to hop onto the desk for a quick brushing first, so that he would be presentable to "his public"

Stars must look perfect before they show themselves in public or a paparazzi might catch them off guard and snap an unfaltering picture.

There is no doubt now...
Mischief is a star.
