Only likes baby food - chicken

Hello,
We have a kitten who will only eat baby food - chicken to be exact. We are working with a vet and I am feeding her prescription food until she gets her weight up, but I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and what cat food they found that kitty would eat? (she's 12 weeks old
I've tried Whiskas - the chunky stuff with gravy, fancy feast, nutro - a bunch of different flavors of each, and she wants none of it. Vet says to get her to eat whatever we can for now...normally I would feed her something natural and healthy - but for now, they don't care what she eats as long as she eats it.

are you feeding stage one??? did you make sure NO ONION or Garlic in the baby food

If you can find, By Nature has cans of organic chicken cat food--it looks a lot like just chicken. You might also try blending some of the regular pate cat foods with a little water in a blender to give them a texture more similar to the baby food.

Thank you! As I was syringe feeding her today, she started lapping at the prescription food willingly instead of me shoving it down her throat lol What a great thing!!! If she doesn't eat it from a bowl, I will still try these foods that you suggested.
Yup, no onion or garlic in the baby food.

In case this idea is overlooked, also MIX the new stuff in with her fave, incrementally ... like 1/4 prescription, 3.4 baby food ... and slowly increase the new stuff.
