I love my husband. (You will see why I have to repeat this to myself over and over again at the end of the story)

We cut out of work early today just for the heck of it, and we happened across a breast cancer walk. A bit odd for a Friday, but fun none the less. As a large group of pink wearing ladies crossed the the street in front of us everyone started clapping. They were very thankful for the support, that is until my husband opened his big mouth. He shouted out: BOOBS RULE!

The entire crowd went silent.

I turned a very bright shade of red, then purple, then blue.

He then looked at me and said, "What? Not the best choice of words?"

People need to lighten up. What he said was supportive and funny. I don't know where you live, but where I live, the women would have all laughed and maybe even high-fived him. Of course, southern women have a good sense of humor.

I think they were shocked that a very loud man was yelling at them. Most of the crowd did laugh, but I think it was because of my reaction and not what he said.

I would have busted up as well.
I'm actually going to buy some Save the Ta-tas t-shirts for myself, my mom, and my nieces this year for x-mas.

Nothing wrong with having a sense of humor and fighting for a cause.

Since you say you love him, he must have had good intentions but just
so I understand why you'd feel
and pretty

OMIGOSH! The things they'll come up with sometimes.
