Wow I would have never thought of that. Excellent article!

On a side note... I have to wonder if the use of soy in pet foods (both the bean and the oil) isn't also a culprit. I know its been linked to hypothyroidism in humans... so while I'm no doctor, and I can't prove it... it is enough to make me wonder.

Interesting. Our 14 year old Tigger has hyperthyroidism. House is pretty dusty too, Rob's mom calls herself the dust-queen.

one thing to bear in mind is this is a sample of 23 cats, which should be too low to be conclusive.
