Here's a thread where I'll post some pics of my cats.

Some of you may remember the kittens Jamie and Zoe from this thread. Jamie has grown up to be much larger than his "sister" Zoe, who has grown into a smaller, faster, sleeker cat.

Here is how they look today -

Zoe Hairyette - just ignore the messy cat dishes and mats,,,

As you can see, Jamie likes lending a helping hand to his bird pals, checking their aviaries for invading mice. None of the birds are at all concerned about having a giant cat walking all over them. And Jamie isn't even remotely interested in the birds. Jamie is used to having small king quails running in and out of his legs as he walks through the aviary floors... it's as if the birds don't even notice he is there.

Here's Jamie inspecting one of the dove's nests for vermin -

Here's Jamie observing a Japanese Quail -

Wow Nikita would so not be safe around birds like that. Great that your cat is though. He's gorgeous and looks very big

They all look like happy cats.
Have you heard the expression "cat amongst the pigeons"?
It's amazing that Jamie isn't interested in the birds!

Not that amazing, really - He's just always been around them since he was a kitten and never been encouraged to play with/attack them. Cats can learn just as well as dogs can (if not, better hehe), given time and patience

Us cats are very intelligent animals, and we are much smarter at working things out for ourselves than certain other animals... Just don't expect us to do tricks on command - we're not dogs you know

This is our oldest cat "Piggles" - she is 16 years old now. Note the skin cancer on her nose and also a small one on her bottom eyelid
. She is Mouser's grandmother.

Your photo of Piggles, Mouser's grandmother, touched my heart.

You live in a animal paradise.

Do they all get along?
