Hello, I took Missy to the vet to have her checked over because some days her eyes are all red and watering and other days they look fine. They think its allergies so they told me to put some drops in her eyes when they act up.

She has problems with her teeth so she has a tough time with some cat foods. The vet did a good blood workup on her to see if she is in good enough shape to handle having her teeth worked on if need be. She has lost some weight probably because she is having a tough time with the cat food, so we are going to give her soft food for a while and see how she does.

This morning the vet calls and says that Missy is amazing, all her blood tests were great,
she told me that from looking at her and her blood work she would not believe she is 19 years old without having her old medical records to prove it.

I'm glad Missy is in good health! What kind of work are you going to get done on her teeth?

Good for Missy and her fine blood work.
She's obviously been well cared for.

The soft food should help her to eat more comfortably. Positive thoughts to Missy.

Hi, As of right now I am not sure if we are going to do anything with her teeth. I need to talk to the vet more about it and see what she thinks we should do.

Hi again, I got a message from the vet saying she wants to try some antibiotic on Missy. I went and got the medicine but the vet was busy so I didn't talk with her. She must think Missy has a infected tooth or something. I will try and talk to the vet later today to see what she thinks. She wouldn't eat her soft food last night so I am getting more worried about her.

Hi again, I think the med is helping Missy already. She ate a bunch this morning and she is hungry now again, and she is getting some of her "attitude" back.
