Zoe, our black lab, went nuts this morning with the barking! 3 a.m.! The baby, who's only six weeks old, doesn't wake me up as much as this dog. So my husband gets up with her and brings her downstairs (he was worried about her waking the neighbors) with us and I'm just about to dose back off when the dog starts barking again only this time she is in the room with us. I finally just gave up and got out of bed. Yes, I've been awake since 3 a.m.!

I'm not looking for any advice here ... but complaining.

Was anything prowling around outside? Did pup need to go? Keno's done that a few times. Sometimes they might hear a neighbor starting a car up the street or something like that.

My paents dog des this, sometimes he wants to go out side but the majority of the time he just barked for no reason, just to find out where everyone is, he has got worse with age, he is completely deaf through age and he has worked out that if he barks someone will come and talk to him and he wont have to get up, we think he also barks in his sleep! so I feel in sympathy for you!
