My good deed for the week happened yesturday.

I was on my way down the road when I realized there was a car parked IN the road blocking off an intersection.

So, I wonder what's going on of course.

I pull up next to the lady and rolled down the window, to ask if she needed help.

She gave me a dirty look.

So, I motion for her to roll down her window as well.
(hahaha they didn't have a car window in the smilies)

I asked "You need help?"

She replied "I ran out of gas."

My reply "Ok, I have a little bit of gas at home, I can run and get some- I only live a block away... "
I didn't really want to go back home...

So, I went and got her some gas, put it in her car.... and she drove away. Without a thank you or anything...

This lady was a bit rude for me helping her out, but that's living in the big city...right!?!

There's my good deed for the week!

That was a great thing to do.

Too bad she was rude... but I guess she was having a bad day. Hopefully your good deed will rub off on her.

I heard someone say once that even when people are rude to you, you should still be polite and helpful... not because they are nice, but because you are.

That was very nice of you to do that even though she didn't even say thank you or anything.

That's the spirit!

Most likely she seemed rude because she was probably embarrassed or ticked that she was out of gas.

Just remember: Karma. I totally believe in that.

What does around.........comes around!

But, when does mine 'come around'? It seems like I've been hearing this all my life....
It still hasn't 'came around' this area! I hope Mrs. Karma updated my new address!

I checked with her. She said she does in fact have your new address, and she will be over as soon as she finishes her dinner and runs around the backyard for an hour

I bet she was seriously annoyed and frazzled already, probably had to be somewhere...

Anyway, isn't it cool when you get to help somebody like that? Even if they don't say thanks, you still got to help them.

I have a bad habit of being extra-cheerful and polite to people who are rude to me. It puts me in a really good mood. I'm evil like that though...

Karma never showed up, did she get lost?
I even bought some treats for her!

BTW: My dad's Australian Shephard is named Karma! I love that name!
