My boyfriend's cat (Memphis, from previous thread) recently had some serious urinary tract issues and ultimately we found out that he has a lower urinary tract disease indigenous to many Persian cats. Well, he gets this i/d canned food from the vet, and I'm trying to tell him that there are less expensive alternatives out there that are just as good. He's not moving, saying that he's going with only what the vet told him. Any advice?
