I wash many of my dishes by hand anyway-all cookware, anything with a wooden handle, my knives and some glassware the dishwasher would be easy to give up!!

Of those items we only have the fridge and the car and both of those are necessities for us.

Right now we don't have a stove, just a microwave.

I don't have a dishwasher, and to be honest I don't really see the need for a dishwasher. They're more of a luxury than a real need. We had a dishwasher at my parents house, and to be honest, I would just rather hand wash my dishes, than wait until the dishwasher was full. So, if I had a dishwasher I would give that up, with no problems at all.

I guess if I had to give up 1 thing, it wuld be the dishwasher. I would hate to have to give it up, but I wuldn't give anything else up (well, except the TV if it had been an option)!

I would have to say the dishwasher, I did without it for years until we got a new one sometime ago and I could do without it again!!

I could easily give up TV for a year. Everything I watch on TV I can watch online so as long as have the internet I'm good.

However out of those choice, giving up the dishwasher wouldn't be a problem for me.

I don't have a car so I voted "car" LOL

However, if I had to give up one of the other things that I currently have I would go with dishwasher because most of the time I wash my dishes by hand anyway.

Dishwasher for me too. I could easily hand-wash everything, even with a family of four. (We run that thing daily but me and the kids could hand wash the stuff)

(plus I can't count how many wine glasses have been busted by Ye Olde Dishwasher... ouch)

I could live without my car IF hubby and I carpooled. I'd sell it in a heartbeat, even tho I love the old girl.

I can't live without the TV... I am not a sofa tater but I would feel terrible missing Nip/Tuck!!!

I wouldn't want to give up any of these conveniences. Is there another choice?
