I feel really bad, but I think I'm bored of playing with the cats. Don't get me wrong I'm not bored of the cats. We just have the same routine every day:

Whitey starts to cry and beg to be played with at 9:00 pm. I'll bring what's left of "Da Bird" (stick and string), run through the house a couple of times with him. Play with Luna, Beauty and Patches. Finally after 30 minutes I put the string away.

However lately I'm just playing 10-15 minutes with the cats. Then I just get bored.

I feel bad too...right now he's just staring at me and blinking at me. I need more toys.

I buy differerent toys. Not so the cats don't get bored, but so I don't!

I've got 6 "sets" to play with:
Twitch & Lily
Damita
Molly, Dory, Ophelia
PJ & Punky
Fafeena & Slinky
Cow, Goat-Head, Billy Bob, & Tony Bob

So I've got 4 sets of toys to rotate for the 6 outside kitties who'll play with me. 2 sets for each set of inside kitties. Confused yet?

A great toy is a small piece of aluminum foil rolled up in a perfectly round tight ball. They love it, especially in the bathtub.

Absolutely THAT! Throw it in the tub and let them 'have at it'.

Thanks for the aluminum foil idea. Normally they don't play in the bathtub, but I'll ahve to try that tonight.

We also had a paper bag that whitey and I would play in as well. He would crawl inside and pounce when I started scratching with my finger. He finally destroyed the bag though

I'll be shopping online at Drs Smith and Foster today
Maybe I'll head up to Petco as well.

Laser Pointer!!! I also play hide and seek with Cairo. All I have to do is get her to make eye contact with me and then duck or hide around something. Repeat twice and then she'll do the butt wiggle, and pounce on me from wherever she is.
