As many of you know I do landscaping/landscape maintenance.
I have obtained some weekly/bi-weekly customers for maintenance and got a new client today that will require much work this yr and next spring.
The majority of these clients are either elderly (ok all are) and some have disabilities that prevent them from gardening like they used too.

I see this as a potentially very large market for my services!!
I am thinking of advertising my services more as a private gardener than just landscaping to capture this market. I advertise at a senior center where I have gotten a few jobs (and its free advertising) I will try to locate another senior center nearby to try to obtain more business too.

But if I want to advertise in the newpaper-they have a service directory I'm not quite sure how to focus in on this clientele without stating the obvious-the elderly and the disabled. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What if you noted at the bottom that seniors and disabled persons receive a discount? Then if anyone calls that is none of these, charge them more than you normally do

Otherwise I think you would need to specify it, but you can do so gracefully. Perhaps something like

Gardening Services for those unable to garden themselves. Whether you're you have difficulty kneeling or are unable to garden like you use to, give me a call. I specialize in taking care of gardens and yard work for senior citizens and the disabled.

I'm a little uncreative tonight. Hope that gets the wheels spinning on your end!

At the senior center I do state that I have discounts but people ask me over the phone and honestly I wouldn't want to quote a price until I actually view the job. I don't want to get taken advantage of either say if they live in a better neighborhood or live in a McMansion. One lady I know, she hires people to help for less than half of what I charge and this particular person is a multi-millionaire who easily can pay more!!
