A little earlier today Saedie threw up twice. I gave her some water and food and sat on the couch petting her for awhile. Now she isn't eating and she is barely drinking. She even turned down canned food. She NEVER turns down canned food. She won't move at all. She has been laying in the same spot since after I left the couch.

I might just be a little paranoid but I am really worried about her. Could anything serious be wrong with her?

I am from England but currently live in Yorktown V
If you are worried and she is really acting different to her normal self, give your vet, or a 24 hour vet a call and see what they say, They may recomend you take her in, especially if she is not drinking and has been sick, you dont want her to dehydrate.
Hope she gets better.

From what you said....
I would consider this an emergency.
Please get her to a vet immediately to rule out anything life threatening.

She just drank a little bit of water when I put it closer to her. She smelt it, drank a tiny bit and went back to laying down. I am going to call an emergency vet and see what they say, I just need to find my phone book first.

I do hope that your sweet Saedie is alright.

I think that you are smart to have her checked out.

Lots of healthy vibes on the way.
Please keep us updated.

Alright, I called the vet. They said to keep a close watch on her for an hour or two and if she doesn't get any better to bring her right in. I've been watching her and she is feeling much better. She ate some canned food and drank some more water. She is playing with her toys and everything again, too.

I guess she just ate something that didn't agree with her stomach.

She really knows how to get me scared.

Aww, poor Saedie
Hope it's nothing serious.

Has she pooed lately?? Spyder acted like that when he was constipated except he would vomit up his food or water if her tried to eat or drink.

She is back to her normal self again. I woke up this morning to her kicking dirt around that fell out of the plant she knocked over.

I have no idea what was wrong with her, but I'm so glad she got better.
