Hi,

A colleague told me about a friend of hers who used a pinch of a powdered cranberry suppliment (sold for humans) in her cat's water to clear up a urinary track infection. Have any of you heard of this, and is it safe?

Thanks much!!!

Some us with chronic UTI/Struvite problems use Carpon which is a Cranberry extract. The only problem I see with putting a pinch in the water is you can't be sure if the cat is always getting enough to be helpful. (I think?)

I have used cranberry extract with Summer's UTI's and they seem to clear up faster that way. I never put it in her water though...
