tues morning update:
bf called me last night and begged me to come back. its fun when they beg isnt it?
i told him he could take his offer and shove it up his mean kitty-hatin' bum. (well, i used some strronger words than that but if i typed them all you would see is

i never would have ever ever ever dreamed of talking to him likethat when we were together. i was soooooooo timid. but now i feel like a tiger. GRRRRRRR!
ive even got a couple of leads on a job today. wish me luck!

I think all of us have tough times in life choosing OURSELVES (and our babies of course! lol!!!!) over others sometimes. Self esteem is a tough tough thing to maintain. And what a powerful POWERFUL statement you are making for not only yourself, Catgirl, but for all women everywhere.

a very kind member just took the time to write 2 tell me about the trouble this site had with some troublemakers here last year. it sounded like a horribel story for all of u.
at any rate, she told me that some people here were wondering about me b/c of how fast i went from MN back to VA and she suggested i tell u all how it happened in more detail b/c i didn't reallly explain that very well in this thread.
1st, about my evil bf. we had been togethr for about 3 yrs and he never hit me or anything, but he was one of those Verbal abusive guys. really broke me down and made me feel like crap. my self esteem got so low.
when we moved to MN last year it got worse b/c my family wasnt around me anymore and i became even more depndant on him. really i should have left him long, long, long time ago, but feeling like u cant? well, thats just awful.
really, it was the new kitties that got me moving. when he found out about them he got really angry and i got scard that he might hurt them. even tho he always liked vegemite and supernova ok, they never really took to him. but he seemd to downrite hate, hate the new cats. he was starting to scare me.
so, yeah, its stupid and silly that i was never brave enuf 2 do what i shoudl have for my own sake, but at least my new cats gave me the strengh i needed to leave.
so on sunday, i called my mom and dad and told them how scard i was. dad has a piper aztec that we used to fly around in a lot when i was a kid, but that he hardly ever uses anymore b/c fuel costs for planes are even worse than cars, lol. but when he heard i was in truble he was out the door like a flash and flew out to MN to get me.
i just took my clothes and the cats and we headed to the airport in the middle of hte night. just left without even telling evil bf. the sound of the props put the kitties right to sleep and they had a great trip to their new home.

YES! mom especially likes the kittens and dad tries to act all macho but he always smiles when supernova or vege curl up with him to nap. i think hes looking out 4 them to make sure they get enuf attenton and dont get jelous of the new furbabies!!!!Originally Posted by Jenny82
