Hi Friends!

from here, at every friday, I will post this thread, because voluntarie or involuntarie we are always whistling a song during the day or days,or thinking about it!....

So you can express here wich one is the song from this week that sourround on your head mostly!.....

I begin!.......For me was Metal Health!

Well I'm an axegrinder Piledriver
Mother says that I never never mind her
Got no brains I'm insane
Teacher says that I'm one big pain
I'm like a laser 6-streamin' razor
I got a mouth like an alligator
I want it louder
More power
I'm gonna rock ya till it strikes the hour

Bang your head! Metal Health'll drive you mad
Band your head! Metal Health'll drive you mad

Come on.....Lets us wich one for you

Bohemian Rhapsody! Excellent choice!

Well, we have this radio station in Dallas, Lone Star 92.5... and I'm crazy about it! It's one of those new formats where they don't play any particular genre of music -- they just play GOOD music from ANY genre. Brilliant idea!

So I'm hearing a lot of songs I've never heard before, and while driving the other day, I caught the tail end of one that made me laugh so hard I had to pull over...

Snake Farm!
It sure sounds nasty
Snake Farm!
Well, it pretty much is
Snake Farm!
It's a reptile house
Snake Farm!
Eeeeuuuggggghhhhh!

I sang it all the way home, and then I looked it up online -- turns out it's Ray Wylie Hubbard, a wonderful Texas singer/songwriter I've seen in person! I didn't even recognize his voice.

I have to wonder, though... do people outside the American south and southwest know about snake farms? They are (thank goodness) a disappearing tradition -- wretched little places along the highways, with 4x8-foot plywood boards painted yellow with red letters and propped up out front as signs.

I've never actually been inside a snake farm, but as I understand it, the owners dig pits and keep snakes in them that you can look at for a buck or two. They also sell rattlesnake-rattle keychains, and scorpions preserved in acrylic and mounted on belt buckles, and tequila-flavored lollipops with worms in them, and heaven knows what other assorted horrors. Just the thing to inspire a fine songwriter like Ray Wylie Hubbard!

So anyway, I've got Snake Farm stuck in my head... not quite tired of it yet, but I can see it comin'...

I have "Smack That" - Akon stuck in my head right now How aweful is that I can NOT get it out of my head eithor- i've tried singing it, i've tried listening to other songs...nothing is working I was flipping through the radio stations earlier trying to find something to listen to, and i swear- all i heard was two seconds of that song and it's been stuck in my head ever since. I was trying to find the country station at the time too so that makes it even more amusing (for the record i prefer country and rock)

I've had Dream Theater - Forsaken sneaking into my head all day. ...I'm not even sure when I started liking Dream Theater, so that makes it a bit odd.

Never seen or even heard of one. However, there are rattlesnake round ups here.

Kenny Chesney's "Who You'd Be Today"

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
I feel you everywhere I go.
I see your smile, I see your face,
I hear you laughin' in the rain.
I still can't believe you're gone.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell that I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who'd you be today?

Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams?
Settle down with a family,
I wonder what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue,
I feel like I can talk to you,
An' I know it might sound crazy.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell that I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who you'd be today?

Today, today, today.
Today, today, today.

[Instrumental Break]

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
The only thing that gives me hope,
Is I know I'll see you again some day.

Some day, some day, some day.

My dads birthday is next week...He passed away almost 8 years ago...

I've had "Shooting Star" by Bad Company in my head. Ever since it came up on my iPod yesterday, its been "downloaded" into my head Mainly the chorus part is stuck there.

Johnny was a schoolboy when he heard his first Beatle song,
'Love me do,' I think it was. From there it didn't take him long.
Got himself a guitar, used to play every night,
Now he's in a rock 'n' roll outfit,

And everything's all right, don't you know?

Johnny told his mama, hey, 'Mama, I'm goin' away. I'm gonna hit the big
time, gonna be a big star someday', Yeah.
Mama came to the door with a teardrop in her eye.
Johnny said, 'Don't cry, mama, smile and wave good-bye'.

Don't you know, yeah yeah, Don't you know that you are a shooting star,
Don't you know, don't you know. Don't you know that you are
a shooting star, And all the world will love you just as long,
As long as you are.

Johnny made a record, Went straight up to number one,
Suddenly everyone loved to hear him sing the song.
Watching the world go by, surprising it goes so fast.
Johnny looked around him and said, 'Well, I made the big time at last'.

Don't you know, don't you know, Don't you know that you are
a shooting star,
Don't you know, oh, yeah, Don't you know that you are
a shooting star, yeah,
And all the world will love you just as long,
As long as you are, a shooting star.

Don't you know that you are a shooting star, Don't you know, yeah,
Don't you know that you are a shooting star, now,
And all the world will love you just as long, As long you are you.

Johnny died one night, died in his bed, Bottle of whiskey,
sleeping tablets by his head. Johnny's life passed him by like a
warm summer day, If you listen to the wind you can still hear him play

Oh oh oh, Don't you know that you are a shooting star,
Don't you know, yeah, don't you know', Don't you know that
you are a shooting star,
Don't you know, yeah,
Don't you know that you are a shooting star,
Don't you, don't you,
don't you, don't you,
Don't you know, don't you
know, oh, yeah, you are,
Yeah, a shooting star, yeah, oh
oh oh oh oh......
Don't you, don't you know
that you are a shooting star,
Don't you don't you know......

Ever since seeing hairspray i've had 'ladies choice' stuck in my head, as well as a small crush on zach efron and James Marsden.

And of course the words i especially want to sing are-
'Hey little girl lookin' for a sale
Test drive this American male'
Which is so appropriate what with me being an english girl and all

Hey little girl with the cash to burn
I'm sellin' something you won't return
Hey little girl take me off the shelf
'Cause it's hard having fun playing with yourself
Once you've browsed through the whole selection
Shake your hips in my direction

A prettier package you never did see
Take me home then unwrap me
Shop around little darlin' I've got to be
The Ladies' Choice, (Ladies' Choice), Ladies' Choice

Hey little girl lookin' for a sale
Test drive this American male
It's gonna take cash to fill my tank
So let's crack open your piggy bank
Hey little girl going window shopping
I got something traffic stopping

Hey, little girl on a spending spree
I don't come cheap but the kisses come free
On closer inspection I'm sure that you'll agree
I'm the Ladies' Choice, (Ladies' Choice), Ladies' Choice

(ahhhhh, ahhhhh, ahhhhh, ahhhhh) (Wow!)
Hey, little girl on a spending spree
I don't come cheap but the kisses come free
On closer inspection I'm sure that you'll agree

Hey little girl, listen to my plea
I come with a lifetime guarantee
And one day maybe we'll find that baby makes three
It's the Ladies' Choice
I'm the Ladies' Choice
The Ladies' Choice
I'm the Ladies' Choice choice choice
I'm the Ladies' Choice
