I am new here, I decided to join now that I have got myself a new 9 week old siamese kitten. Which makes 3 kitties for me.

I am having trouble with a name for the little boy, thought you might have some ideas

I have tried adding a picture I am not sure if it will work. Also I am wondering (if pic works) if he is a chocolate point or seal point. I was told seal but he looks more chocolate to me.

Thanks for all the help
Autumn

Your kitten sure is adorable!
I did a little research to help you out with the "chocolate" or "seal point"
Photo to Photo comparison the kittens look the same dark ears, tail and splodge on the face that gradiates outwards... on the seal point there are some that were lighter than others and some just as dark as the chocolate, but still called seal point.

From what I saw, "Chocolate point" is Rare.

Copied & Pasted from one of the sites:

Chocolate point siamese kittens may take time to find, as this cat is rare. This color variety of the breed is relatively rare compared to the classic seal variety. These cats have light brown facial mask, ears, tail and feet and pale creamy body. This variety appeared in the middle of the 20th century and such cats are more expensive than traditional ones. Chocolate point siamese kittens may take time to find, as this cat is rare.

So from that being said I would say that your cute lil' guy would be as was origoinally said to you & he is a seal point.

WELCOME to you & the lil' one

Hi Lore

Thanks for the advice, I have been looking too, and I keep finding pictures of chocolate point kittens that look just like my little guy. I was told by the breeder that it was too early to tell for sure so she was selling them as seal points. My little guy is the lighter of the 2 males that she had and I was told by a lady on a different forum that you can tell by the paws if it is seal or chocolate, she said chocolate paws tend to look like milk chocolate, and seals tend to look dark dark brown sometimes almost black.

Then I found this website in my search...lol

http://www.blue-gem.com/kittens.htm

There mom is a seal point and Dad is a Flame point.

I don't really care either way, I love his look and personality, my other 2 are not too happy about him, but they are warming up to him.
I have a 7 year old Maine coon mix Charlie and a very cool looking calico Bella who is almost 3.

All of your babies are just gorgeous!! that little Meezer though is just to die for
I'm acutally going to say he is a chocolate, I'm under the impression the seals have more of the dark area, like it goes up their legs a little more, but then again that might not happen till later. Lore gave you some great name suggestions!! Hope to see you around!!!!
